Newman’s Picks for Places to Eat in Tempe

If you’re a foodie looking for a variety of food and drink, Tempe is a great place for lunch or dinner out with colleagues, friends, and family. Tempe Marketplace offers a variety of coffee shops and lunch spots to dinner and nightlife. Mill Avenue and surrounding areas never disappoint and then there are the neighborhood favorite places to eat in Tempe.

Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen – If you’re looking for live music and 50+ beers on tap, Cooper Blues in Tempe is the place for you! Whether you’re wanting lunch with colleagues or a night out with friends, you can enjoy live music seven days a week. Relax and enjoy!

House of Tricks – Tucked into campus at Seventh Avenue, House of Tricks has long been a place for wine lover and diners alike. Available for nightly dining, private parties, and special events, the award winning food and atmosphere will keep you coming back for more.

Paradise Bakery Tempe Marketplace – There are a host of great places to eat at Tempe Marketplace but one of my favorites for business meetings is Paradise Bakery. The staff is courteous, restaurant is clean, and food is delicious.

Postino’s Annex (Tempe) – Located southwest of the stadium on the southeast corner of Sixth and College, Postino’s – Tempe will not disappoint. Grab brunch with friends on the weekend or lunch or dinner during the week. On Monday and Tuesday after 8pm you can get any house bottle of wine and bruschetta for just $20!

VinciTorio’s Restaurant – If you’re looking for a neighborhood Italian restaurant, check out VinciTorio’s near Elliot and McClintock. Owners Mario and Ginger have been serving our favorite Italian dishes for more than 20 years. It’s worth a visit just to try one of the more than 200 premier wines and handmade fresh pasta.

Whether you’re looking for a lunch spot to meet with a client or a night out on the town, Tempe doesn’t disappoint!
