Places to Shop – Chandler AZ
You don’t have to go far to find the perfect gift. From consignment to upscale, Chandler AZ offers some of the best shopping in the east valley.
Chandler Fashion Center
I’ll admit that when the Chandler Fashion Center opened in 2001, I was skeptical of a big mall opening in quiet, suburban Chandler, AZ. After all, it’s the second largest mall in the Phoenix area, hosting 180 stores that include Dillard’s, Sears, Nordstrom, Macy’s, and locally owned Harkins Theatres. While there are a lot of chain stores and restaurants, the mall has made Chandler a hot spot for real estate and tourism and that’s not bad!
If you’re looking to stay away from the mall crowd, check out downtown Chandler. Host to art walks, farmers markets, and the annual Tumbleweed Christmas tree, this area is a filled with locally owned businesses. Paint your own pottery at Burst of Butterflies or enjoy comedy at Improv Mania. Looking for uniquely southwest gifts? Check out Sibley’s West. If you’re looking to get married, there’s Soho63, Yes, I do Bridal Art and Photography, and Uptown Bridal & Boutique.
